Kinesiology

Kinesiology is the scientific study of human movement and physical activity. It encompasses various fields, including anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, neuroscience, and psychology. Kinesiologists aim to understand how the body moves and functions to promote optimal health and performance. They apply this knowledge to a variety of settings, including sports and exercise, rehabilitation, ergonomics, and occupational health and safety. Kinesiology also involves the use of assessment and intervention techniques such as movement analysis, exercise prescription, and manual therapy to help individuals improve their physical function and reduce the risk of injury.

Through ergonomic assessments, I evaluate a person's workplace environment, including their posture, work tools, equipment, and work processes.
